Chronology
When maple syrup farmer Ruth Landry finds her livelihood under attack by greedy competitors who were once her friends, she concocts a scheme to exact revenge and shake up the industry.. Loosely based on the 2011-2012 theft of $18 million worth of maple syrup from a storage facility in Quebec; five people were sentenced to jail..
The entire cast was phenomenal, with Jamie Lee Curtis delivering a brilliant performance as always
But I was particularly impressed by Margo Martindale – she absolutely shines in her role. The sharp, witty dialogue kept me constantly entertained, and I’m really hoping for a second season.
It’s absolutely worth checking out
This show has a unique blend of humor and crime drama that I haven’t seen in a while.Here’s hoping the creators decide to give us more! The unexpected twists and turns kept me guessing throughout, and the Canadian setting added a unique flavor to the story.
