The gap between my expectations and the actual impact of a film has never been so wide

The possibilities were so great as an actor with two of our times the greatest cast – and they couldn’t get a soul out of the film either. The writing and the soundtrack were completely forgettable, even though Pugh and Garfield gave great performances for what was available to them.

and I felt very little emotional investment in them

The back-and-forth had an incomplete emotional journey, as there was no stake or stake in it. I had such high hopes and was counting down the days of this film, and I was deeply disappointed when I left the screening.

Hopefully someone will combine these two upcoming films and give them a better chance to create a masterpiece
